Below Sea Level Stories 2006
program of recent short films from the Sinking City of New Orleans, curated by Courtney
How have New Orleans filmmakers responded to the disaster of Hurricane Katrina? With pain, anger, joy, and large doses of dark humor. Short documentaries, animation and experimental films provide glimpses into the schizoid psyche of the Sinking City that never make it into the news.

The Namesake:
The Chaos Hags

The Chaos Hags is an experiment in recomposing the body parts of female film stars. The resulting Frankenstein's monster-esque creatures are metaphors for psychological states and conflicts.
